Accreditation and Centres of Excellence
For training providers based in England, the accreditation system recognises and celebrates excellence in the delivery of training and qualifications, and brings together employers and providers in partnership to help raise the professionalism of the hospitality industry. Colleges and providers can use their accredited status as a way to attract new learners, while the logo demonstrates to employers that an organisation is acknowledged as one of the best places to develop skilled staff to meet their business needs.
Centres of Excellence
An already accredited college or provider can apply to become a Centre of Excellence, if it delivers training in a specialist area such as Asian and Oriental cuisine, or Food and Beverage service. Before a college can be awarded with a ‘Centre of Excellence’ status, it is put through a series of assessments to gain the award.
